Lilly of the valley are one of my favorite flower they smell soo good and i'am soo ready for a Hot Summer. :)


~Watercolor paper & watercolor paint on 11x15 paper.
~Six hours of work pianting and two hours drawing her.

This is one of my favorites pieces that you've done. What a wonderful artist you are! In my garden the lily of the Valley flowers are just begining to peek above green of leaf, like tiny white pearls of promise. This wonderful artwork reflects my feeling about these fragrant spring flowers.

where i grew up the Lily of the Valley would start peeking through the last clumps of snow.

I love her bodice and her freckles, they make up the little details that set you apart from other artists. Wonderful, as always!

The recurring 'spot' shapes, with the 'freckle/spots' and the lilies, really ties the thing together. And the colors of her dress complement her hair complement the background- very nice choices!

You've got such a soft, appealing style that still manages to catch the eye. ...One of these days I'll have to try and talk you into putting together a makeup design. I'd love to see one of your schemas in a makeup medium. ^_~
